About LaptopRadar
Last updated November 7, 2026
LaptopRadar is a laptop comparison site. We collect and analyze published specifications for laptops and their configurations in one consistent format, so you can line up two to five models and compare their processors, displays, memory, storage and other features.
Why we built it
Laptop spec sheets can describe several different machines under one model name. Processor, display, memory and storage options vary by configuration, and similar names can hide different part numbers. We organize published information by model and configuration, using consistent spec rows to make those differences easier to understand.
Where the specs come from
- Manufacturer specifications first. Product pages, datasheets and user guides published by the laptop brand.
- Structured product data (Open Icecat) for identifiers such as model numbers and GTINs.
- Store listings for configurations a maker doesn’t list itself, and for details the maker leaves out, never copied reviews or other sites’ scores. Pages built only from store listings say so.
We prioritize manufacturer specifications when sources disagree. If a specification is not published, we leave it blank rather than guess. Configuration details apply to the configuration shown; other versions of the same model may differ.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell rankings or placements. Brands can’t pay to be listed, featured or compared favorably.
- We don’t publish other sites’ scores or copy their reviews.
- We don’t show product prices, because they change hourly and a static page would be out of date. Budget pages and the price filter only sort laptops into rough ranges. The “Check current price” button opens the product’s store page, where the price is live.
